Mega Pocket in 3D
Data: 21-03-2011You can now see on Facebook the new KFC’s sandwich, Mega Pocket – in 3D! In the application we used augmented reality.
KFC Has launched an advertising campaign promoting the new Mega Pocket sandwich. Our task was to attract KFC fan’s attention on Facebook and design POS materials.
On the Internet we have used two interactive tools:
- competition on KFC’s fanpage,
- non-standard activity – augmented reality.
Thanks to augmented reality technology you can see the new Sandwich on Facebook... in 3D! To do so, you just have to print a special code, turn on the Internet video camera and place the code in front of it. Those encouraged by the virtual picture to taste Mega Pocket can enter a competition and win one of 520 invitations to KFC restaurants for a gratis Mega Pocket Menu.
Furthermore, new KFC offer is supported by a TV campaign on all-Poland TV stations and an outdoor campaign on citilights in the biggest Polish cities. Promotional activities are led simultaneously in Poland and in Czech Republic.
